Guruji has indicated that the next few months, upto around the middle of October are not so good and He has advised that we keep three things in mind
1. No adventure trips at all. No trekking, rafting, mountain climbing, etc
2. Cut down on partying and night outs
3. Drive slowly, carefully and don’t leave your house till you have finished your Sadhana
For these few weeks, please be more sattwic, eat at home more, not outside as much as possible…
What i see in this, is it’s an opportunity for all of us to go more inwards. Clean up our life and start up some really good habits.Do all your Sadhana, Surya Namaskars, Padma Sadhana, Sudarshan Kriya, Sahaj. Also do chanting, Om Namah Shivaya and the Guru Pooja if you know it.
Start to read the Bhagavad Geeta and the Yoga Vasishtha … You know you have been wanting to do it, instead of that trek, sit home and read these books. Doesn’t matter if you don’t understand or it is too deep for you, just reading will open something up in you… Read these books just after meditation.
Go Inwards.

You can definitely come for Navaratri. This time is bad upto end of september. Don’t be paranoid, simply be careful and do your Sadhana v regularly

My parents and some of my relatives have already booked a 3 week pilgrimage trip in September which includes a few places in the himalayas. They are hesitant to cancel it. How do I convince them?
Even dinesh’s parents had booked a trip like that. Infact his brother has flown down from the US for it. That trip has also been cancelled. Please do not invite trouble into your life

This is Blessing in Disguise….Due to the presence of the master even the worst of times become THE BEST ONES. I have been doing regular sadhna earlier also . But these days, i feel it has made me all the more centered.
I feel the purity/divinity as one does during one of the AOL courses.
This is just as Guruji says meditation becomes much more effective when done at the time of eclipse…. Seems , same is the case now..!!

i will miss the night outs but it feels different to sleep early and on time so to speak

yes you should continue and find a job. once you get the job through grace you should contribute 50% of your salary to bawa.
50% is way too much, but approximately 5-10% to a charity of your choice is definitely recommended… We do need money for our ashram coming up in Bombay, so if you feel that you would like to contribute for that, it would be most welcome

does that mean one’s past good/bad karma will play major role in this period ?
i am not too sure about all this… just be a little regular with your Sadhana, and avoid doing anything “adventurous”

You are propagating silly superstitions in the name of spirituality. To the extent that they are small rituals, nobody says anything, but to base one’s life’s direction on superstition..Jeez! – reminds me of medevial india where the kings used to determine time of attack based on muhurat, instead of strategy. No wonder hindus lost to muslim invaders!.
I’m surprised that being a science graduate you believe, and propagate this stuff. There is no conflict between science and spirituality, but these superstitions have nothing to do with either science or spirituality.
It’s up to you to follow any of what i say … regardless of whether you believe or not, there is no real harm in doing regular Sadhana, reading the Geeta and having a healthier lifestyle is there?

I am from Australia and I’ll be visiting India next month. I am doing the part 2 course on the 19th of august at the ashram. And after this, we have booked a tour of himachal pradesh. We won’t be doing any adventure activities but should we still go ahead with this trip? Please advice.

I wanted to go from Gujarat to Maharasthra in first week of August — about 15 hrs trip for getting some AOL Training — is this also banned? I went 18 hours bus trip recently to an Ayurvedic hospital based on what a senior teacher said and then my feet were swollen when I got back and it turned out to be a waste of a trip of sorts… All my trips are related to AOL and/or spirituality so hard to tell what is okay? If I want to go to Kerala in august via busy is that also out? Or to go to some ashram?
