Dinesh Ghodke is a B. tech. from IIT Mumbai. He, along with Khurshed Batliwala (Bawa) is the director of WAYE (World Alliance for Youth Empowerment) and has been a faculty with the Art of Living for the last 13 years. He has dedicated his life to spread the knowledge of his Guru H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Through the YES!+ (Youth Empowerment and skills) workshops he and Bawa designed with the guidance of Guruji, Dinesh has been training youth all over the world to excel in their personal/professional lives and at the same time inspiring them to take up social responsibility.
Since childhood his passion has been to excel in whatever he does. He can really be named as a “born winner”. Be it sports or academics. His tenacity has always helped him to be a cut above the rest. An athlete, a gymnast and also the chess champ of IIT he almost always wins in all the late night board games we play with friends. Dinesh also loves to play football (believe me, even in that he is the best). He is an exercise freak. Joining him for a physical exercise session may prove to be very dangerous because when you think you can’t do it anymore Dinesh has just started. He holds the record in the Art of Living circles for doing the maximum Suryanamaskars at a stretch… 108!!
He also holds the record of being one of the youngest Art of Living teachers at 19 and an Advance course teacher at 22. At a time when most of us are confused and have really no good idea about our own minds and how they work Dinesh had already started teaching the secrets of happy and stress free living to people twice or thrice his age.
He is not only open to learning but is always looking out to squeeze valuable bits of knowledge from people and situations around and then immediately implement it in life. His open mindedness, sincerity, humility and an intense willingness to learn more make him a student par excellence.
As a successful teacher of the Art of Living he so completely fulfills all the criteria, the most important being…. Having a perpetual smile. That is what he effortlessly carries with him 24/7. The second being, a sense of belongingness towards everyone. He can relate to people in a slum and with equal ease address a conference consisting of the most distinguished and high profile members of the society. With a post graduate in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Khurshed Batliwala, or “Bawa” as he is fondly known (a nick name that has stuck from his IIT days) is an extraordinary personality.

He enjoys movies with happy endings and is partial to theatre, comedies and musicals being his favourites.
Unlike most of us, Bawa is never satisfied by mere learning and mastering of a skill, he does not rest till he has taught others to master it too. Sometimes you will be laughing uncontrollably at his jokes and wit, othertimes just wondering at his practical wisdom and knowledge.
Apart from conducting youth workshops as an Art of Living senior faculty member, Bawa also conducts interesting workshops such as the Mathemagic, which makes maths fun and interesting, the financial literacy workshop, a seminar on unconventional concepts on money management and wealth generation, and an introductory workshop on western classical music appreciation. He has recently even put together a workshop to teach people how to cook and enjoy the experience!
He is a complete technology geek, and he brings to the table a smooth blend of cutting edge technology and deep knowledge of Indian spirituality and traditions. His passions include computer games, long walks, good food and caring about the environment and animals.
He loves reading and writing, and to everybody’s delight his love for writing has translated to blogging through which it has become easy for all his fans to be updated with the latest in his (and Dinesh’s) life, not to mention, have glimpses of his amazing sense of humour, get to learn beautiful interpretations of mythological stories from different religions (He is a Parsi and his blog includes some beautiful insights into his religion), recreate his recipes, and read wonderful stories, jokes and anecdotes.

I would love to be a part of the YES+team but my teachers are holding me on to Part 1. I would love to be a part of the YES+team. Yesterday I completed my first YES+ course with Bawa & Dineshda. I am very much impressed by both of u especially Dineshda when I came to know that he is a Maharashtrian & was staying in Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli(E) because I stay in this area. I had a lot to talk to Dineshda but he didn’t come on last day of the course.

Dear Bawa & Dinesh Da, I wanna inform you that it was the best experience for the YES+ team Nashik. We had voting awareness campaign for 4 days. Walking rally (Padyatra) was one of the part of it. near abt 200 youth participated in ths activity. Result was amazing. Ratio of voting was really increased. media also co-operated us. it felt rly nice tht as a youth we did something for our great country & main thing we experienced gurugrace in it also.

Attended the Yes Plus at SRCC Delhi from 11th -13th Dec. It was super Awesum. I have done 1 Part Course and 4 Advance Courses before doin this one. This one was amazing. All my Stress is gone. Feeling great. The Best AOL Course I have done so far.

i jus got back from da b’lor ashram after da winter break..i missed da last day..which is kinda sad..but da best part is dat i all i have been thnkin n tlkin about since da tym i returnd is aol,n da ashram n of course dinesh n bawa..n last but never da least GURUJI..n not jus about da amount of fun v had wid dinesh n bawa.but also about da kinda knoweldge n all da different kinda experiences i have had in dat few days..itz been one of a kind.cant wait to go back to coll n drag all my frnds n my not soo gud frnds in to da doin yes + …lukin frwd to goin to da ashram again..

I have just done YES!++ from you in December 2009 (WINTER BREAK 09). It was a brain storming experience. I loved the YES!+ T-shirts and pens. We made our first GURU STORY. First time in my life i climb on the moving train to reach Banglore on time. This ADVANCE COURSE will be my best NEW YEAR GIFT from GURUJI. Now i love to do Meditation and Surya Namaskar. I am feeling blessed that you and DINESH bhayiya are our teachers and much more than that.

I thing those were the best days of my life so far….
Still i remember some moments… as aha.. moments.
and their i heard about both of you. ( Dinesh and Bawa)
after that i am so much curious to meet both of you.
even i tried to come to German ashram on new year 2009 -10 but some problem was their with me .

I am sure you must have heard about the Save Tiger movement. I am just back from Sariska and Panna Tiger reserve, and was very sad to hear about the horror poaching stories. Am wondering if you with your incredible wit and intelligence, can post something about it on your blog or speak about some workable inputs/solutions/suggestions for masses, in the aol courses.
Our national animal is fighting for its life.From around 40,000 at the turn of the last century, there are just 1411 tigers left in India.If we don’t act now, we could lose this part of our heritage forever.

It was complete pleasure 2 c both of u.. Jus loved d way u speak..
Then the “parenting” sesion at lakshchandi (gokuldham) was jus awesome!!
Now m eagerly waiting for ur march ka YES!+ @ BKC of 100000 people (largest in the city)..

I read about both of u. I really love u. Both of u r so good, attaractive and talented. Atfer passing from IIT, being a technical person it is not so easy to enter into NGO. what things made u enter into this Art of living foundation.
