Clearing some “Concepts”
Q. I no longer have the blind faith I used to have for Guruji. I have many questions, which I asked my sister. She got fed up of me and asked me to ask you. So I am doing it…
a. I feel Bangalore Ashram is fully like Hindu domain (with names of kutirs as kashyapa and so on, with constructions based on Hindu mythology and astrology and astronomy, etc.). Even though I am a Hindu (actually a brahmin), I somehow feel AOL is concentrating only on Hindus and not people of other religions. What is your take on this?
b. Bangalore ashram has been built very lavishly, where as, Mangalore does not have an ashram yet. Only a center is present over there. Wouldn’t it be better if Guruji expanded AOL only after the base is set?
c. Guruji actually travels in business class than in economy class (my uncle who is a CEO travels by economy class). Wouldn’t it be saving of money if he travels by economic class?
d. How come Guruji has appointed more number of hindu teachers? Many places do not have muslim/ christian teachers at all. How can you expect all communities to join in satsangs where there is idol worship, etc. (in short following cultures and traditions of Hindus)?
Please don’t have any blind faith for anyone. Faith is never blind. Though the people who don’t have faith are.
Go thru the doubts. Ask questions. Satisfy yourself. Then your faith will be unswerving and you will be richer for that. I hope you understand that it makes not an iota of difference to Guruji whether you have faith in Him or not. Faith helps the seeker, the devotee. Not the Guru.
If AOL is concentrating only on Hindus, then AOL would have been popular only in certain pockets in India. Certainly AOL wouldn’t have appealed to me personally, I am a Parsi. AOL is a worldwide phenomenon. We have courses happening in Saudi and in Rome. AOL takes the essence of all traditions and makes it into a practical and palatable application for modern day living. In India, our ashram reflects the majority Indian culture and traditions.
BTW, do you know that this “Hindu” organization has my father, a 100% Zoroastrian Parsi as its chairman? That the chairman of the European Art of Living is a Roman Catholic, The Chairperson of Art of Living in the Middle East is a Shia Muslim lady and that the chairman of Art of Living US is a Jew?!
Guruji supports the best practices not only of Hindutva, but of all traditions and religions. And ruthlessly He lashes out at the irrational aspects of the same.
Making an Ashram is not much of an issue. Maintaining it, and making it self-reliant is a huge challenge. An ashram should not become a drain on organizational resources, otherwise it becomes counter productive to what it has been built for. If you can come up with a feasible, viable business plan for an ashram in Mangalore or for that matter anywhere else in the world, you can have meetings with the concerned people, like the Apex bodies, etc and i am sure it can be enabled.
Guruji is here on the planet for only a limited period of time as are we all, and His purpose is not real estate, but to spread the Knowledge of meditation and the Self to as many as possible. His base is planet Earth and as of now it is set.
Guruji travels by first class whenever possible, not business. He has also travelled when required to by unreserved train. He has a physical body, which for our own sake needs to be protected and taken care of as much as possible. Have you seen His schedule? I have had the privilege of travelling with Him many times, and after 15 days of it, needed 4-5 days to just recuperate. He does it 24/7 year in and year out.
I defy you or anyone else to move the way He does and work at the pace He has set for Himself. 40 flights in 30 days, many of them long haul takes their toll on the body. Saving money like this is no savings at all.
Btw, how much of the money your uncle earns has he given to the betterment of society? How much of the time of his life does he spend for others? And, finally if his business is doing well, why would he travel by economy? When you can be comfortable and you choose to be uncomfortable, that’s simply being a miser and not very intelligent. Of course if his business is not working, and he is forced to travel by economy, that’s another story… and if he really wants to “save” money, maybe he should go by non air-conditioned bus. Or walk.
In India, 80% of the population is still Hindu. So, we have many Hindu teachers here. We also have Christian, Sikh, Muslim and Parsi teachers in India. In Poland you are not going to find ANY Hindu, Sikh, Muslim and Parsi teachers, only Christian teachers coz there they are all mostly Christians. To be a teacher, you don’t need to be a follower of any culture or tradition. You don’t even need to have a graduation degree.
You only need the ability to think about others, instead of yourself and have a want to teach this glorious Knowledge to others, and yes, have the patience to answer nonsensical questions with a smile, when asked by nincompoops.
Art of Living Satsangs are jam packed almost everywhere in the world. You have clearly not read Guruji’s Knowledge books or listened to many of His talks. He has at length explained the significance of Satsang, of idols and symbols, of singing and chanting. If you browse some articles on this blog, you can read up about some of the fantastic symbolism.
Just fyi, Satsangs in Europe and the US do have hymns in them too. Our Satsangs reflect the character of the place we are in and introduce also a beautiful Indian flavour too, exposing people to the wealth of the culture and tradition of the oldest civilization on the planet.
Finally, if you have ever sat in on a Satsang with Vikram or Harshal you will be treated to world class (devotional) music… from bhajans, to hymns, to possibly even an aboriginal African prayer.
Art of Living Satsangs attract the intelligent seeker from any tradition, faith, religious system or belief. Even atheists. For people who have concepts of how “spirituality”, “meditation”, or a “Guru” should be, and are stuck in those concepts, possibly Art of Living may not help. But if you are a sincere seeker and you really wish to explore the inner universe, then stuff like Mangalore not having an Ashram, Guruji travelling by business class and idols in Satsangs will not bother you.
It’s easy to write nasty questions and sit around your computer waiting for answers. It’s tough to get out there and actually make a difference to society.
I invite you to become busy figuring out how you can make a difference to this beautiful planet we live on, and what part you will be able to play in this brilliant transformation that Art of Living and Guruji are bringing about.
Jai Gurudeva!

Woohooo! Awesome! Am sure a lot of ppl had these questions and NOW everyone is going to think twice before asking. Haha! I laughed for 3 minutes straight when i read the line “and His purpose is not real estate, but to spread the Knowledge of meditation and the Self ” …
Wow..bawu..i love you !!!!!!

They are more of a memoirs .. Guruji had said ..
“if u see a photo of ur sister tucked away in u r wallet .. wudnt it remind u of her and with affection .. ??”

Idol worship was what i always questioned as a kid ..
and trust me now i adore the idols/photos i have at home ..

Jai Gurudev!
wow , u r amazing . sometimes i wonder how can U keep ur head so cool ?? U both r simply fantastic ..
luv u
awesome answer..a brilliant mix of explanation, politeness, aggression and a reality check (faith helps the seeker). You end it with an invitation which somewhere implies “its ok if you have been stupid, we know you were ignorant but now that the answer is clear why dont you join us in improving this world”
too good !!
Bau,
to this Q&A
BRILLIANT would be an understatement
I still cant stop laughing at the Buisness class answr
you are too gud
It is so necessary to answer these questions coz there are too many out there having same doubts about AOL. At times it becomes difficult to answer them as we shift our stand from standing for AOL to defending AOL. Where else can we find the best way to answer them. Your answers hit more than a slap Bau
Very nice answers Bau, regarding faith its 100%. Guruji is not seeking we have faith or not. When we pray, if its useful for our growth, that prayer is immediately granted. I think faith is only for our comfortable only. Because Guruji’s grace and compassion towards to devotee is so infinite. Guruji concern only about devotee’s development. Anyway person practice sadhana, satsang and seva regularly all his question get answered.
Very nice answers Bau
only one word ….awesome…:)
just fantabulous bau:)u need to be a seeker to understand these things and see the bigger picture always which u can, only when u r open and willing to learn which i lacked before AOL.The only thing in my mind before coming here was tht m going to learn from guru which i never gave importance to and used to think tht i can learn things on my own but i was so wrong. My guru has given a new dimension to my life and enlighting the life of many others:)louve u guruji.Yes+ was the best gift i could i have ever given to myself:)all i can say is THANK YOU dinesh n bau for structuring such a wonderful course.our society needed it badly.u guys rock:)JGD:)
:):) Jai Guru Dev!
great Bau… As usual nailed the point through.
Bau you are as amazing as ever:)
loved those answers…
Really admire the clarity, the cool that you maintain in answering the non-senscial questions!! Could feel the smiles behind those answers so much that I can’t stop smiling now:))
Baws,
I have seen your anger from close proximity couple of times (for similar questions) and can sense that as underlying tone of your reply, at some places.
Question - well answered.
However, I think his uncle’s business got involved by himself - but if a person chooses to be comfortable, but avoids being extravagant- would it still be unintelligent. Curious question huh.
JGD
Nathan
economy class is under no circumstances categorizable under “comfortable”
I really start liking guys who put these kind of questions
. Your answers and conviction in them clears out debris from mind !! Jai Gurudev
Bauuuu,…A fitting reply…:)
Jgd

I think guys who question Art of Living and its activities actually make the blog interesting, all the goody goody ones makes it seem like a movie with no villains therefore no masala. I feel becoming pro art of living is not the end goal … end goal is to become pro action oriented(seva). Sitting on the couch and being pro or anti art of living is one and the same thing.
Totally agree!!
Briliant !!! Awesome !!! Splendid answers Bau!!!!
WWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO WORDS TO EXPLAIN THE POST:-)
I feel like commenting again!
Dho dala
Invitation accepted
:D
I loved the word nincompoop… LOL… it sounds like just what it means haha… “you’re such a nincompoop” this sounds so good when you say it…
hehe
I love this part:
” Btw, how much of the money your uncle earns has he given to the betterment of society? How much of the time of his life does he spend for others? And, finally if his business is doing well, why would he travel by economy? When you can be comfortable and you choose to be uncomfortable, that’s simply being a miser and not very intelligent. i was waitin for next intresting chapter of adi shankaracharya and clearing concept made it a delay for day!!!
fast
bau pls…
jai gurudeva
Bau you answered it perfectly! But I will also like to say here that the author of these questions whoever he was doesnt deserves any hatred or mocking.
For the author of those questions I will just say.. whoever is seeking perfection should first start thinking practically and then add some love in his way..
just like we had that equation…
Bau u know I feel this is like a complete cycle of feelings one goes through- introduction to the Guru, doubts, lots of doubts, faith and then unshakable faith. I feel so blessed that am at the final level.:)
Thanks for this treat!
Love
SUPERB BAU!!!
i also loved the title:D
Superb Reply to the Bau!!
It lashes out all the misconceptions “outsiders” have bout AOL and Guruji.
Awesome!!:)
Hi… Bau !!
Jaigurudeva !!!
Bau ..whenever you say.. whatever you say… I am always amazed with you short & crispy answers……
your last lines which is regarding “taking responsibilities to change the planet instead of talking nonsense ” was really touched me….
Lv u Bau…
Jassi (VnV)
Bawa, Intensity of your reply is so beautiful. I may have a misunderstanding.
“Guruji is here on the planet for only a limited period of time as are we all, and His purpose is not …… His base is planet Earth and as of now it is set.”
what ” His base is planet Earth and as of now it is set” should convey?
Is that last line correct? His base is not Bangalore or Mangalore or ashrams
it can only be in the heart of true devotee or seeker
ya, ok His base is planet Earth and the hearts of the devotees, especially mine
what an answer Bau…everything justified…
Bou Bou Bou ….Absolutely Brilliant!!!!Hats off to you.:) luv u.jgd
Bau…….you just dont cease to amaze me everytime u write !!!!
I just wish 2 of my closest friends get this dose from u once, so that they atleast leave non veg and utmost join AOL.
Super answers to some of the common questions some ignorants have.
Love ya Bau,
Viraj.
Jgd
After a long time a hard hitting, humorous post which i am sure is going to become into a controversy becoz on intelligent idiot wil ask a very a intelligent question such as ” how can a senior art of living teacher call somebody as a nincompoops”, there will be pros and cons and debates about it. Comments would exceed 150 definitely. :).
Waiting for the intelligent idiot post.
I think you have warned the intelligent idiot off…..
“intelligent idiot” … ha ha ha …!!!!
Bawa… you seem to have settled my mind to a very large extent. Such questions were never a part of my thinking and they’ve not managed to shake my faith in Guruji either but I would get disturbed when others would doubt Guruji’s work. These are the kind of questions people outside the AOL family normally feel ‘important’ to ask so as to test how the AOL family responds to. You’ve provided the best answers to some of the most insignificant questions!
As usual, brilliant answers..
Even while asking questions this dear friend don’t take good responsibility. It’s just that his sister told, he has asked questions. Seems from his writing that Guruji will miss something if he has no faith.
Very apt replies Bau. I feel like you are sooooo patient writing out replies to all these questions.
Love
My god Bau! You do have infinite patience to answer such crazy questions! A perfect answer, as always
I am proud to say that you’re my teacher
Maybe he should come and visit the ashram once more and see that many places have been named after Guru Nanak, buddha, mahavira….
Somethings cant be proven logically….
Bawa.. u literally lashed him.. every word is a whiplash.. but i am glad u did it.. twas fun reading it..
dear neha,
you appear like someone who has full faith. it is beautiful. so i would say, encourage people who ask questions and share your strength of faith with them. that it is imp. that everyone air their doubts and talk freely. i don’t think anyone is being nasty or mean or negative if they ask questions. in fact it is out of love that they are asking questions.
Love for Art of living, love for honesty, love for a perfect world and of course love for improvement, self improvement and Gurujee. Jai Gurudev
wow, that is like a bullet wrapped in silk and a rose hanging down from it… it looks pleasant and then hits you hard!! And it doesn’t kill you… it gives you a life!!!
jai gurudev!!
Salutes to you Bau!!! Enjoyed the reading….& the laugh after that….:-)
Very nicely answered bau….
hey bau great answer….
such stupid questions should be answered just like the way you did…
jai gurudev
Fantastic!! I did not want the post to end ever while scrolling through it…: )
I had few concepts about religions a while back but the Francois Gautier Blog was a real eye opener.
Loved your intensity!!!..and thank you for posting it on the Blog for the benefit of all. : )..’Guruji’s purpose is not real estate’, that’s something which cracked us up all big time in the Yes!+ Huddle too : )
One more nincompoop-ous question: how do we keep track of all the money coming in and how is it allocated to different seva projects? And what is the role of VVMP or VVKI?
Jai Gurudeva!
The funds are allocated depending on need … the various Apex bodies, trustees, etc in consultation with Guruji decide it…
Jai Gurudeva!
VVMVP is the ashram side of Art of Living, taking care of mainly ashram activities like the gaushala (cows), organic farming, Pooja training and research, Rural development programs, etc
VVKI is the teaching the courses organization of the Art of Living
interestingly, Art of Living is not the name of any of our organizations, its the name of the series of courses we offer
and it is not a nincompoopous question at all … a nincoompoop according to me, is a person who listens more to hearsay, does little or no research and the only exercise his mind gets is from jumping to conclusions… puttimg 2 and 2 together and making 6983
love
bawa
6983…??
Excellent Bau!!fantastic & clearest way of ur answering in ur own way..no one can ask any damm ques again when that person gets ans from you..u r like..THIS IS IT & no other alternative for the person in front!! This will help us a lot in answering when anyone will pass useless comment about AOL.
jai gurudev!
Hee hee….. too good!!! JGD
mind blowing bauuu..!!
“THE PERFECT” answer..!!
lovely fabthastic answer bau
in two words
U Rock
I took a printed copy this post showed it to my uncles and all my relatives to make them understand how much seva guruji or any AOL member does
luv u bawa
Sudha.P
This is was JUST TOOOOO…… GGOD!!!
Mind blowing answers BAU…will definitely stitch anyone’s brain who have these type of stupid questions and will make him follow the path
btw after reading the post i laughed a lot…hahaha
Jai Gurudev!
BAWA.. really amazing the way you answered the questions.. One more suggestion/request.. Maybe you can start a column in your blog like.. word of the day or the week.. example : nincoompoop
Sure all of us will learn a lot.. id love to see it !!
As always B&D ( Bawa n Dinesh) ROCK!!

JGD.
Bau I don’t understand how can people ask such question without understanding what Art of Living is doing???
It’s lovely that you understand what Art of Living is doing and have such faith. I would say, encourage your guru brothers and sisters who ask questions and share your strength of faith with them.
It is imp. that everyone air their doubts and talk freely. That is what makes AOL what it is. i don’t think anyone is being stupid, or nasty or mean or negative if they ask questions. in fact it is out of love that they are asking questions.
otherwise they would just walk away. but they are honest to ask in such a public forum, cause they have trust in their guru-brothers and guru sisters.
encourage their love. Love for Art of living, love for honesty, love for a perfect world and of course love for improvement, self improvement and Gurujee. Jai Gurudev
Even i answered all the questions out of love only
Otherwise i wouldnt take the time and the effort to type this stuff out
Well it seems Gungun has given the poor boy(im assuming he’s a boy) a lot many sisters to handle
Bauu tussi great ho
THE DEBATE followed by another ‘Debate’!!
Jaigurudeva.
As usual again this answer is SUPER DUPER COOL….
But what does nincompoops means? I don’t know the meaning but the way it is used and sounds, explains it all.
Simply brilliant!! It had a good mix of aggression and politeness.. you are too good!!
Especially the line which says its easy to sit around a computer and wait for answers!!
Love you bawa!!
Jai guru deva!!
well said. Answers questions asked by many many ppl who are ignorant of what’s being done in the larger context.
most proponents, few hundred years ago, preached that all religions are same. The message got lost for several years. Religions were functioning in silos just for the name sake till souls who serve the world like our guruji called on all of them to look at everything being the same. This change will take sometime to simmer before being acknowledged.
Teacher Q was senseless anyway since i have seen teachers from all castes/creeds taking pains to conduct courses for equally diverse participants.
Well said again..
Bau response was mindblasting
To the doubting thomas who asked this question, I want to remind him what Guruji says about how your progress in the Path is hampered by the 3 doubts. Doubt on yourself, the technique and the Guru. When you doubt the Guru, you need to understand the tricks of the mind, see the doubt as a doubt. If you are not able to do that, please surrender the doubts. And remember that The Guru does not gain anything by your faith on him, it is you who gain from your faith on Him. And as Guruji says, “If you don’t have the faith, pray for it, although it is paradoxical”
Bau so well written, equally interesting is to read all the responses….thanks for sharing
Love
Watte reply!
Amazing!
wow bawa
awesome and then awesome some more ..
jaigurudev!
Standing ovation for that one!!!
amazing !!!!
Bau its really a great answer…..
wow !! kya baat hai bau !! crisp !!!
my condolences to the person who has asked these questions. jai gurudev.
I don’t completely agree with you on this one, bawa.
“It’s easy to write nasty questions and sit around your computer waiting for answers”. First its not easy to ask them either. The guy must be asking apparently silly questions but it still needs some guts to shoot them on point blank (or even on the blog). I admire that.
Second, this questions are not actually silly. They are genuine doubts of a mind that is still blinking to the amazing light that guruji has opened on to us. As he says “every level of confusion, leads to a higher degree of faith”.My friend here has actually realized that he is confused. Most people will spend a lifetime without even knowing they are confused (dialogue partly taken from Peaceful Warrior).
Third, why do I always get a signal from you that questions are not welcomed? You have been sitting with the light for ever, they will sound silly to you. I don’t know if this guy will ever again have a heart to put out his confusions to let alone you; even to his didi! To be said in a metaphor, if I have a cold and decide to go to a doctor (that is my lovely Bau here), do I expect him to tell me that having cold is stupid and and I am a nincompoop?Awesome vocabulary though, Doc.
That is precisely where I feel, you and dinesh bhaya differ. If possible, I would love to see his answer to the guys predicament. The medicine will be the same, but sometimes capsule makes all the difference.
Jai Guru Dev
P.S Dear Friend,
Though the odds are really low that you will read this comment but if you do, I would like to let you know I really appreciate your effort for answers. You have shown some good courage and I will request you to add a little more courage and take your questions to the fountain itself (our guruji).
Jai Guru Dev
Doubts lead to questions and its good that this guy has asked it. But who is asking to, how it should be asked to is a matter of concern. A bit of politeness without sermonising and jumping to conclusions at the end would have gone a long way in ensuring that he gets a very politely worded mail.
Basically the tone of the question would definitely matter in the type of answer one recieves.
jgd
That is what differs a guru from disciple. Guru teaches by example.
I totally see your point..I felt the same thing and couldn’t express it,but you have written it so beautifully
for some reason like such questions ,, i get to read the best way to counter them when some one asks them to me
,,
hey bau great fantabulous answers for an ignoramus.. i have seen such staunch roman catholics, arya samajis hindus( me being one of them), sikhs, muslims, jews, atheists being ardent devotees of sri sri accross the globe and even in india all because of his unconditional love and all inclusive philosophy …. and no i havent stopped my arya samaj practices altough i have been in aol since i was 18 years old thats when i did my 1st course and its almost 5 years in aol next year… jgd….
i agree with all the points. lovely answer Bau. but mostly that it is imp. that everyone air their doubts and talk freely. i don’t think anyone is being nasty or mean or negative if they ask questions. in fact it is out of love that they are asking questions. Love for Art of living, love for honesty, love for a perfect world and of course love for improvement, self improvement and Gurujee. Jai Gurudev
All of us need to volunteer for a couple of courses and see the number of people we run into who did come by the steps of my guru but could not stick to his guided path. Atleast this guy stopped to say good bye.I would hate to give up on him.
I actually got up and clapped on this..BRILLIANTLY done Bau…as always….BRILLIANT is the word…
P.S. For all that Guruji does….he deserves to have his own charter plane….
I love you bau………Just learnt sooo much from u just in this post…..Tons of love your way
Jgd! Bawa, I like that you reply all with valid reasons and examples but the way you finishes “It’s easy to write nasty questions and sit around your computer waiting for answers. It’s tough to get out there and actually make a difference to society” is something which will discourage others to ask such questions. Well how these can be nasty for you is amazing.
not really nasty, mostly irrelevant
Ok, but we push things towards you which is unanswered and irrelevant! and Bau, yr response is always soothing and encouraging.
That was my only concern.
JGD!
such things were asked to me when I was on my way back from ashram after navaratri…
they were not successful to shake my faith at all… THEY SHOULD READ ALL THIS!
N i would like to tell this person who has asked this question..
to really take a sincere look at guruji and other people
may be you CAN notice that he is ” COMPLETE ” AND “NIRVIKAAR”.
AND HENCE THE ONLY “SAMPURNA GURU” IN TODAY’S DATE…
I think the boy or girl who asked this question did say that he had a lot of faith on Guruji and was Gaga over him…. his questions are more of feelings than doubts…. Feelings which come up when the ego is pricked… I think it happens more to guys who are aggressive… even i have these phases when I really hate everything about Art of Living.. and have these quite often some days…. I think it happens when you don’t do Seva etc.. probably we get caught up in these things…..
AND PLEASE DON’T LOOSE SUCH A MASTER JUST BECAUSE OF A LITTLE IMPURITY IN YOU…
MAY BE THIS SUGGESTION IS UNWANTED AND UNNECESSARY FROM ME..
BUT ITS JUST FOR YOU….
I was thinking of losing him once. I still keep thinking it a lot of times these days ..i felt i was going far away from HIM… and then I read this sutra on esatsang :- “The Wave Cannot Be Separated From The Ocean”. Maybe if you swim against the flow of a river or with the flow of a river anyway you are going to go down into the ocean… just that swimming with the flow makes you at ease and against the flow gets you frustrated, that you are not able to succeed in your direction.
lolzie……yes, have the patience to answer nonsensical questions with a smile, when asked by nincompoops…….hahaha
bau ur jus too good!!!
I am thankful to the person that asked this question and to the person that replied to this question…eye-opening reply!!
Jai Gurudev!!
If its a blog & its titled “Sounds Interesting” & if you post a question of any kind, expect one thing for certain:
A High Voltage response to wake up
Love to both of you Dear Bau & Dineshji
Faadu yaar…… Amazing… Bau u rock…!!!
Bau,
This was just too good. You are probably one of the biggest assets to the organisation!
Love
“You only need the ability to think about others, instead of yourself and have a want to teach this glorious Knowledge to others, and yes, have the patience to answer nonsensical questions with a smile, when asked by nincompoops.” - well said!!!
It takes brilliant answers to reply to seemingly “not so brilliant questions”. If those questions were not asked, no way bau could have come up with such cool answers and received 101 appreciations. Opposites values are complimentary.
I love the questions as much as I love the answers. In this universe, there is a place for everything.
Luved the answers !!!
Bau cracked all the way! In just one shot you also told us how to tackle people’s questions!
You Rock!
Wow Bau!
Wonderful answers for even the most stupid questions! It is said “A fool can ask more questions than a wise man can answer”. I realized this proverb many times while taking classes in my college(I teach in a college). But after reading this post, I know that this saying is 100% true…………. Hahahahahahahah……………..
Love
Meghana
Wowww!! awesome reply to the questions, Bau !
some of my own doubts have also been cleared…
thanks Bau!
JGD:)
Just amazing Bau……there are many people who ask us some of these questions and we do answer them but your answers have just given us some more points to add to our strong replies……..
hi to everyone.
I dont know ,but do we need so much discussions and conclusions about our friend “nincompoop”– it will be a nice nickname for him.
He was to ask that questions ,he asked it. Bau answered it back. thats it over. one more thing who all need to stay in this path will have to stay , they have no other choice.. so what the point in doing his behavioural analysis.
this is what i felt. Even in satsangs guruji ,gives a PAT!!! reply for stupid questions right???thats what i have seen of lately..
Second thing, we need not beg anyone to stay or say in mosshy-sooshy tone . IT NEEDS BALLS TO STAY IN THIS PATH and go through all the processes
So true….
Hats off to u BAWA…..
so true!!
one thing which bawa made is very clear through the above answer ” A GURU WOULD NEVER LEAVE THE DISCIPLE…..BUT A DISCIPLE CAN LEAVE A GURU…” A guru is here for you….and it doesnt matter to the guru…if u dont want to believe him, dats absolutely your choice, b’cause it will not affect him , but YOU as a seeker….
When u have faith in god….u only question his faith..when something goes wrong in your life, y is it so?????
This is because people are so ignorant about the fact that if god/guruji is with you in happier times….he’s always held ur hands when you were in trouble…it;s only that u dont realise it, but even in that something good happens for you…which is planned…
As Bawa Rightly said in Delhi…that ALL THE GOOD /POSTIVE THINGS ARE ALWAYS UNDER THE SCANNER…I.E..ALL THE GOOD THINGS ARE ALWAYS DOUBTED…
Till date i always remmember GURUJI’s words when he came to DELHI recently….” NO MATTER WHAT….I AM THERE WITH U IN YOUR HAPPIER TIMES AND I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE WITH YOU IN WHATEVER SITUATION AND PROBLEMS YOU FACE”
You know what did I Personally feel at that very moment?????
EVEN MY PARENTS COULD NOT HAVE GIVEN ME THIS 100% ASSURANCE AS GURUJI GAVE ME…BECAUSE DEEP DOWN I KNOW…WITHOUT ANY DOUBTS THAT GURUJI WILL BE WITH ME THROUGHOUT , EVEN IF THE WHOLE WORLD TURNS AGAINST ME….
What more could you ask for??? Tell me?
Bawa seriously…this answer of yours would have atleast shook the person who asked it….
It;s very easy to doubt and still and comment infront of the computer but very difficult to BRING ABOUT A CHANGE IN THIS WORLD…
BIG SALUTE TO GURUJI…
Jai gurudev!!
Sometimes i wish i could also be there with all of you- Guruji, u , dinesh bhayiya,Vikram bhayiya and all the other divine people- in the ashram. You all are amazing.
:)))thanks for asking such “irrelevant/stupid” questions as i also had these doubts but with a lot lower intensity.i also learned 1more thing-”if you asking questions to bawa,do some ego busting exercises man”jgd bau,
bau..
that question was driven by a bit of ego and ignorance, we are a little ignorant at some level.
your answer is totally logical and right, but i feel the person seeking this question might have been a bit offended. After reading your answer I asked my self if guruji would have given the same reply?….maybe not…. I feel the motive of this reply should have been to shine some knowledge on him, make him curious to seek answers and get him back into the AOL family.
This post though a right one maybe defeating the greater cause.
btw…I do love the way u blast people off….for their stupid questions
Jai Guru Dev!
Jai Gurudev!!!!!
simply stupendous!
I posted a comment a month back…… i wonder if u r afraid to publish it.Im not trying to be provocative,But still that should be the only reason.
As i can see ,there is not even a single negative comment here. They must hv been comfortably filtered out. I believe that people visiting this site n posting msgs are not idiotic.By eclipsing out their views u r annihilating a healthy discussion…..
If u still dont care abt single word of mine….. “Leave a reply” must be changed to “Leave complimentary replies only, cant bear criticism ” .
At least u can give ur response to my mail(if u care).
If you read through many of the posts on this blog, you will see that i very often publish “negative” comments, in fact there are a few posts that are extremely negative questions which have been answered in my own style … I typically never publish any of the anonymous negative comments. i dont publish comments with links to malicious websites. I dont publish comments that talk derogatorily about Guruji. Other than that most comments are published. My readers are a well educated, happy bunch… so mostly they write good things… and hence those get published, and you will mostly see compliments
Sometimes of course my errant spam filter wins and i do manage to delete a comment or 3 irrevocably and i dont know who those comments are from, and i sincerely apologize to those people
Jai Gurudeva!
love
