I hope you will post this. Thanks for the lovely pictures of Guruji. He looks divine. But someone please stop this “angel in the photo” business. The angels are just dust particles on the lens. At particular angles when light is reflected they appear like circles. Use a Nikon lens cleaning pen and do a before and after shot at the same angle. You will not see these circles. It is good to have faith and believe in angels but by spreading a myth caused by dust, we look silly.

    Hi
thrilled to see the angel photos- In coimbatore the ladies wing celebrated navratri by having chanting in each one’s houe – on the last day- viyayadasami we had celebrations – the photos too were full of angels – while we were tooting ….. our husbands were saying you guys are crazy …. no angel stuff –
we even received this mail with the following reference:
The white spots in the pictures such as this one here:

    http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m12/TheBreakthrough/spots.jpg

is caused by dust in air. These particles are called dust halos they are not angels as per the explanation given here

    http://www.digicamhelp.com/taking-photos/lighting-techniques/dust.php

The white spots occur only in digital cameras and not in the analog cameras. I have a lot of white spots in my own pictures which i shot in the night. The particles are invisible during the day.

    - could we send our photos to you….. but how ???

    JGD. Bau and Dinesh,

Lovely pics of the gang on the terrace. You were all glowing angels!
Pardon my logical mind. But those “orbs” in the photos are mere particles in the air that reflect the light of the flash while the photos are being captured, this is an experimentally proven phenomenon and is termed “back scatter” in photography and often occurs in digital cameras.
But who knows??? we cannot close our mind to all possibilities : )))
Please can you clarify this with Gurudev?
    Love. JGD

There is so much energy flowing through the photos!

Somewhere I read, something called Shaktipath- energy flowing through sound, light and so on…

    Awesome!
    Angels abound!

Just wanted to comment on the “dust particles on the lens” theory ..
if this is so, they’ve got to consistently appear in all pictures (not
just Art of Living event pictures) taken by a given camera .. secondly,
there are just too many people with different cameras who’ve been getting
the same “thingies” of late – someone just showed me snaps of the sky
around the Amphitheatre during the Maharashtra Special Advanced Course,
when we had open-air Satsangs, maybe he can try to post it here ..

  19. sasirekha says:
