By a Second Grade Teacher

I’ve been teaching now for about fifteen years. I have two kids myself, but the best birth story I know is the one I saw in my own second grade classroom a few years back.

When I was a kid, I loved show-and-tell. So I always have a few sessions with my students. It helps them get over shyness and usually, show-and-tell is pretty tame. Kids bring in pet turtles, model airplanes, pictures of fish they catch, stuff like that. And I never, ever place any boundaries or limitations on them. If they want to lug it in to school and talk about it, they’re welcome.

Well, one day this little girl, Erica, a very bright, very outgoing kid, takes her turn and waddles up to the front of the class with a pillow stuffed under her sweater.

She holds up a snapshot of an infant. ‘This is Luke, my baby brother, and I’m going to tell you about his birthday.’

‘First, Mom and Dad made him as a symbol of their love, and then Dad put a seed in my Mom’s stomach, and Luke grew in there. He ate for nine months through an umbrella cord.’

She’s standing there with her hands on the pillow, and I’m trying not to laugh and wishing I had my camcorder with me. The kids are watching her in amazement.

‘Then, about two Saturdays ago, my Mom starts saying and going, ‘Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh!’ Erica puts a hand behind her back and groans.
‘She walked around the house for, like an hour, ‘Oh, oh, oh!’ (Now this kid is doing
a hysterical duck walk and groaning.)

‘My Dad called the middle wife. She delivers babies, but she doesn’t have a sign on the car like the Domino’s man. They got my Mom to lie down in bed like this.’ (Then Erica lies down with her back against the wall.)

‘And then, pop! My Mom had this bag of water she kept in there in case he got thirsty, and it just blew up and spilled all over the bed, like psshhheew!’ (This kid has her legs spread with her little hands miming water flowing away. It was too much!)

‘Then the middle wife starts saying ‘push, push,’ and ‘breathe, breathe. They started counting, but never even got past ten.
Then, all of a sudden, out comes my brother. He was covered in yucky stuff that they all said it was from Mom’s play-center, (placenta) so there must be a lot of toys inside there. When he got out, the middle wife spanked him for crawling up in there.’

Then Erica stood up, took a big theatrical bow and returned to her seat. I’m sure I applauded the loudest. Ever since then, when it’s show-and-tell day, I bring my camcorder, just in case another ‘Middle Wife’ comes along.

    This reminds of one incident
There was this girl name Chitralega she was a good student. Since her sister had gone out of station, she could not do her homework. For one week she did not do her HW ( I never knew it before). I really got so wild that I gave her nice tight slap and sent one of the boys to bring her brother. I told him that his sister not done HW for past one week. Her brother looked at her and she started crying and told I will do my HW from today properly.
To my surprise he started wiping her tears . OMG he was actually his younger brother not even elder . All my students busted out laughing. That was the time I realized I too had a brother or a sister like him. Later she brought her dad and he told me that her sister had been out of station so she could not do the HW.
Really Bau, Kids are so sweet so cool and so innocent.

Was able to get into the permanent state of Samadhi and became one with the same source of all creative inttelligence that Guruji is in. This is the latest revelation got

“Love is not the product of thought which is the past. Thought cannot possibly cultivate love. Love is not hedged about and caught in jealousy, for jealousy is of the past. Love is always active present. It is not `I will love’ or `I have loved’. If you know love you will not follow anybody. Love does not obey. When you love there is neither respect nor disrespect. Don’t you know what it means really to love somebody – to love without hate, without jealousy, without anger, without wanting to interfere with what he is doing or thinking, without condemning, without comparing – don’t you know what it means? Where there is love is there comparison? When you love someone with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your body, with your entire being, is there comparison? When you totally abandon yourself to that love there is not the other. ”

Can you please add this to Guruji’s Knowledge sheet so that AOL people can benefit.

    I am you.

  29. Mrigank says:

A three-year-old walked up to a pregnant lady while waiting with his

    Mother

    In the doctors office.

He inquisitively asked the lady, “Why is your stomach so big?”

She replied, “I’m having a baby.”

With big eyes, he asked, “Is the baby in your stomach?”

    She answered, “He sure is.”

Then the little boy, with a puzzled look, asked, “Is it a good baby?”

She said, “Oh, yes. It’s a real good baby.”

With an even more surprised and shocked look, he asked,

    .

    .

    .
    .

    .

    .

“Then why did you eat him?”

  30. Mrigank says:

A small boy was standing in a street and was trying to ring the bell of a house. His hand was not reaching up there so he was trying to jump. An old man enters the street and as he sees that child unabling to ring the bell he smiles and turns up to the boy and ring the bell twice and says ” Anything else my lord ?” The child replys sharply ” Now run quickly before they come out and beat both of us “.
